2025 marks 400 years since the death of King James VI & I of Scotland, England and Ireland.

We are a team of postgraduate/early career researchers from institutions across the UK, who hosted a multi-day conference with accompanying workshops and activities on 9-11 July 2025 in Glasgow.

We wanted to interrogate James' rich life and legacy, and showcase the innovative research and work that has been inspired by this!
